Service Technician

The Service Technician will serve as an integral member of the Production team with responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair activities on generators, GPUs, air compressors, freshwater injection pumps, chemical injection systems, and production equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair common mechanical failures involving engines, pumps, valves, piping systems, actuators, and production equipment
• Service, calibrate, and repair automated chokes, conventional chokes, control valves, and ESD equipment
• Coordinate equipment installations, replacements, equipment moves, and maintenance activities with Operations personnel
• Identify equipment reliability concerns and recommend corrective actions
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and support asset-management initiatives
• Provide guidance and field support to Service Technician I employees
• Maintain maintenance records, inventory information, and work documentation
• Safely operate tools, equipment, and company vehicles while complying with all EHSQ requirements
• Comply with Seneca’s EHSQ policies, standards and procedures while taking a proactive role in managing environmental, health, and safety for assigned areas of responsibility

• High School or GED equivalent
• 4-7 years of experience
• Valid driver's license and ability to participate in scheduled on-call and after-hours coverage. Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred
• Ability to safely lift and handle up to 50 pounds and routinely operate tools and field equipment and work in the field in all weather conditions
• Strong working knowledge of generators, GPUs, air compressors, freshwater injection pumps, chemical injection systems, production chokes, actuators, valves, and piping systems
• Ability to independently perform preventive maintenance and repair activities and to troubleshoot common mechanical and operational issues with minimal supervision
• Proficiency with maintenance documentation, inventory tracking, and computerized systems
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with operations, contractors, and fellow technicians
• Support training and development of less experienced technicians
• Effective time-management and work-prioritization skills
• Identify reliability concerns and recommend corrective actions

The successful candidate must be authorized to work in United States of America with a valid driver’s license with no restrictions to operate a company vehicle.

This position is a DOT-covered function and must comply with all applicable DOT requirements.
