Job Responsibilities

The Developer, Database will serve as an integral member of the Information Technology team with responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:

 

  • Create, program, troubleshoot, and optimize complex T-SQL queries and database objects, Microsoft SSRS, Microsoft Power BI reporting solutions and data conversion processes.
  • Collaborate with end users and IT development team in order to design, develop, program, implement, and support database solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Perform maintenance tasks such as database backup and restore, security management, server maintenance, and software patching.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database related issues in a timely fashion.
  • Comply with Seneca’s EHSQ policies, standards and procedures and demonstrate active and regular involvement in EHSQ programs.

Job Qualifications

  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience with SQL programming.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience with business intelligence reporting preferably using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and/or Microsoft Power BI.
  • Candidates with Microsoft SQL Server experience highly desired.
  • Candidates must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with end users on a routine basis

The successful candidate must be authorized to work in United States of America.
